Magnesium sulfate is a key magnesia-based cementing component in magnesium oxysulfate cement and basic magnesium sulfate cement. It is usually used in the form of white crystalline magnesium sulfate heptahydrate. Its different particle size specifications have an important influence on the performance of cement.
